With new studies and an increase in popularity, CBD is making waves in markets you might not expect. One of these vertices is the beauty and cosmetics industry. This is one of the biggest industries in the United States, generating nearly 84 billion dollar's in revenue each year. This provides almost unlimited potential for CBD treatment in the beauty industry.

With it's strong anti-inflammatory properties CBD is proven to help treat many skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema and is also known to significantly slow signs of aging giving it a massive advantage in the cosmetics industry and the reason why it's popping up in lotions and facial serums everywhere. This is exciting for the beauty industry because, until CBD, there hasn't been many new developments for fighting these conditions, more so just reinventing the wheel with different versions of benzoyl peroxide, retinoid, or other forms of acid.

Playing off of it's anti-inflammatory nature, CBD also has the potential to fight acne and suppress breakouts. By regulating oil production in sebaceous glands patients suffering from acne will see less breakouts and longterm healing effects. This is also good news for those who want to avoid the steroid approach that come along with some medicines like Accutane and spironolactone.

However, this is just scratching the surface. As studies and research continue there is no cap on how much of an impact CBD can have on the the highly sought after beauty and cosmetic market's, and beyond.
