Showing off it's sensational use case's, a hemp company out of North Carolina has come to terms with Alaska Oil and Quadco, an oil and gas repair company, to create an additive that can be added to their drilling fluid. By combing the use of hemp and another fiber plant similar to hemp called "kenaf", Hemp Inc's finished product will be a solid that can be added to drilling fluid acting as a lubricant while also preventing the fluid from leaking into other earthly formations, encouraging it to have less of an environmental impact on the grounds they drill into.
