CBD. How Long Will it Last?

This is sometimes a difficult question to answer when you consider the many factors contributing to how it effect each person, weight, how much they're using etc. However, the typical answer is aboutthree to five days, and the safe answer is rarely over a week. According to one study participants were taking a fairly high dose of CBD (700mg a day) for nearly six weeks. After the six week were up each patient stopped using CBD for a week, and when they were tested for it there wasn't a trace left in their system. This means that for an average CBD user, you can expect it to be out of your system within 3 - 5 days.

How long until I feel the effects of CBD?

While CBD might stay in your system for a few days, you might be wondering how long it takes to work or "kick in". This widely varies depending on your ingestion method. For example if you are vaping or smoking CBD, you'll most likely feel the effects immediately, where as if you're using a tincture application you'll usually start to feel it in 10-15 minutes after applying the drops under your tongue. Again, there are many factors that effect how long it will stay in your system and when you'll feel it's effect. It all comes back to how CBD will effect each individual differently, the best and most accurate way to know how it might help you, is to consult a medical professional and try for yourself!

I have truly found CBDs very beneficial and would use them continuously if I could afford them. I’ve grown medicinal cannabis and found it very beneficial yet prefers CBDs over all.
