Fig Bread

Fig Bread

Introduction

I call this Hemp Health Bread. Why? I incorporated evo hemp Protein (AKA: hemp flour)! Hemp may help reach homeostasis in the body due to the omega 3 fatty acids.

Ingredients

• 1 tsp baking soda
• 4 cage free eggs
• 1/4 cup of evo hemp Protein

• 1 cup cashew butter

Instructions

1. Prepare the Mixture

First, add fire cider and baking soda to a large bowl and let fizz.

2. Add Eggs

Add eggs and beat with an electric mixer for 1 minute

3. Incorporate Hemp Protein

Add evo hemp Protein and beat another minute

4. Add Cashew Butter

Next, add cashew butter and continue mixing for about 2-3 minutes.

Line a standard bread loaf pan with parchment paper and pour batter into pan. Option to top with sliced figs, nuts, or leave as is.

Tips and Tricks

1. Room Temperature Ingredients

Make sure your eggs and cashew butter are at room temperature before mixing. This helps the batter mix more evenly.

2. Sifting Protein Powder

Sift the evo hemp protein powder before adding it to the mixture to prevent any lumps.

3. Mixing

Use an electric mixer on low to medium speed to avoid over-beating the eggs and cashew butter, which can result in a denser bread.
